This is the furnace class a live DOE rule would ban new production of after December 18, 2028 (a delayed Jan 1, 2030 date is also under DOE consideration), by requiring 95%+ AFUE. Re-verified at the end of this research pass, not left stale: the D.C. Circuit upheld the rule Nov 4, 2025, but on June 8, 2026 the Supreme Court vacated that ruling and remanded the case back to the D.C. Ask whether the AFUE rating on the quote is for this specific model or a nameplate range.
