The two unpriced products -- solaredge-nexis (US orders opened just 2026-07-13, six weeks before this run; no retail price-discovery has happened yet at any channel) and anker-solix-x1 (Anker does not publish a price and no distributor listing found one) -- were checked at every channel found and left unpriced rather than estimated, following the same discipline as furnace's own unpriced-product handling. STRUCTURAL GAP, disclosed rather than worked around: platform/core/price_schema.sql's price_observations table has a capacity_btu column and no kWh-equivalent -- confirmed by reading the schema directly. Our take
A genuinely different-segment product than the rest of this catalog, disclosed plainly rather than presented as equivalent: EcoFlow's core business and brand recognition come from portable power stations and camping/emergency power banks, not fixed whole-home battery installations. OCEAN Pro is EcoFlow's real, currently-shipping move into the installed whole-home-backup market this catalog otherwise covers (a certified installer and utility/AHJ approval are explicitly required per EcoFlow's own product page, and it carries UL 9540A/B per a retailer's listing) -- but a buyer comparing it against Tesla, Enphase or FranklinWH should understand they are choosing a newer entrant to the *installed* segment from a company whose primary track record and brand reputation is in the *portable* segment, not an equivalent long-established fixed-battery manufacturer. The 15-year warranty term is the longest headline figure in this entire catalog, worth weighing against that shorter track record rather than read as an unambiguous win.
Best for
Buyers wanting a modular, expandable LFP system from a company with fast shipping and DTC support channels, who have specifically verified EcoFlow's local installer availability and AHJ approval process in their area before committing.
Watch out for
Two real listings this pass found for the identical 10 kWh SKU differed by over 20% ($6,899 vs $5,739) -- get more than one quote. This is EcoFlow's first real push into installed whole-home backup; its long-run parts/service track record in this specific segment does not yet exist the way it does for Tesla or Enphase.

Before you buy this
Size on continuous power (kW) for what you actually want backed up during an outage, not just usable capacity (kWh) — a well pump or a heat pump compressor starting can draw far more than its running wattage. List your essential loads and ask whether the proposed inverter can start them together, not just hold them once running. And confirm the quote isn't still claiming the 30% federal credit, which expired for anything placed in service after 31 December 2025.
