Im so excited to announce that Hatch: The Design Public Blog friend and guest poster Lisa Adams will be starring in a new show on HGTV called Million Dollar Closets. Lisa, the owner and designer behind LA Closet Design, will be going to the homes of celebs like Whitney Port, and Kris, Kylie and Kendall Jenner (you know, they are part of that clan that is more known for the name Kardashian).

I first discovered Lisas work several years ago and Ive been dreaming of turning my entire upstairs into one big L.A. Closet Design closet ever since! In fact, I keep a giveaway basket in the closet at Lisas suggestion; whenever I realize Im still keeping a pair of jeans with the shortest rise in history in the closet or realize something just isnt my color, I toss it in there and thank Lisa.

The Titanic may have gone down 100 years ago; but its memory lives on in the and of its wealthiest passenger.

To the average visitor from , the and silk wall coverings of the St Regis hotel in New York evoke images of the luxury liners of America’s gilded age. This isn’t surprising, as the St Regis was built in 1904 by John Jacob Astor IV the wealthiest victim of the Titanic. He has been hailed as a hero, calmly helping other passengers including his heavily pregnant wife into a lifeboat before perishing with 1,540 others. However, his legacy lives on in his magnificent hotel, which has remained unchanged since the day he died.
